Two people, one gap in the market
In 2006, Deepak and Ritu Dhawan came together to build Just In Time. Deepak, with his experience in the garment industry, understood the business of clothing. Ritu, however, saw an opportunity that was still largely untapped, leaving a gap in westernwear for the Indian woman.
At the time, there was a vacuum in the market for westernwear that truly considered the Indian woman, her body, her proportions, her lifestyle and the way she wanted to dress.
Together, they opened the first Just In Time store in Delhi NCR and set out to create a brand that would bring well-fitted, elevated westernwear to women in India, while keeping it accessible.
That vision became Just In Time.
Brought a career in the garment industry, bringing the craft of making clothing well.
Brought the vision for westernwear built around the Indian woman, not around her.
Made for the Indian woman
From the beginning, fit has been at the heart of Just In Time. Indian women have diverse body shapes and proportions, and western silhouettes cannot simply be replicated without understanding the woman wearing them. Our garments are created keeping the Indian body type and fit preferences in mind, considering how a garment sits, falls and feels.
Westernwear that fits beautifully, feels comfortable and makes a woman feel confident.
More than just westernwear
We believe westernwear should be anything but ordinary. Our garments go beyond conventional western silhouettes through handwork by Indian artisans, embroidery, considerate detailing and high-quality fabrics, with elements that bring character and elevation to every piece while keeping the garments versatile and wearable.
From tops, shirts and dresses to jumpsuits, trousers, skirts and more, our collections are designed to cater to every occasion, from work and everyday dressing to evenings, celebrations and holidays.
A woman should be able to find everything she needs in one place.
Elevated, yet accessible
Affordability has always been an important part of our philosophy. We believe that beautiful fabrics, intricate handwork, embroidery and elevated design should not automatically mean an inaccessible price.
For us, luxury is about quality, craftsmanship, fit and the feeling a garment gives you, not simply the price attached to it. That is why we put as much thought into our pricing as we do into our garments: to make elevated westernwear feel attainable.
A family-built brand
What began as a shared vision between Deepak and Ritu Dhawan has grown into a family-led business, built on the values they started with: quality, craftsmanship, fit, value and family. Today, both continue to be closely involved in the business, carrying forward the same belief that brought Just In Time to life two decades ago.
To create westernwear that understands the Indian woman, fits her beautifully, elevates her wardrobe and remains accessible.
Twenty years later, that remains at the heart of Just In Time.
